All this time you have been playing ‘the game’. Hell everyone has. I didn’t know until someone told me about it, and then I lost the game. Since then it’s been a struggle to win this game. ’Confuzzled’? well, don’t be. Because you just now lost the game, and your life will never be the same. If your on twitter, search #ijustlostthegame you’d be surprised.

I got this email from the ECA (Entertainment Consumers Association) regarding a gamers petition. Anyway, here’s is a small snippet.
For nearly two decades, elected officials have tried to regulate which video games you can buy, rent and play. Every single time they’ve passed a law, the federal courts have struck it down as unconstitutional. But this may change this fall.
The Supreme Court of the United States has agreed to hear the State ofCalifornia’s infamous ‘violent video game case,’ Schwarzenegger v. EMA. That means that this year, or early next, the Court is going to decide whether to agree with the lower federal courts or not.
Here is the full link. If your a gamer, sign it.

I came across this sometime ago, and it’s a great fan made (I think) trailer.
If this were a real movie to come out, I think it will make put the actual Mortal Kombat movies to shame.
Enjoy! (watch it in HD w/ the speakers turned up a bit)

..The Catalyst..and then some.
First off, yes, I am slacking, a lot. I had a lot of stuff I wanted to share, but I just never got around to it. Wanted to blog about ‘Antenna Gate’, but again, I was just too busy (or lazy).
Anyway, time to get going, as I really need to get the ball rolling in so many ways.
–Linkin Park – The Catalyst, the first single from their upcoming new album, A Thousand Suns, was released today. I first heard a clip of it from a teaser trailer of Medal of Honor, and it excited me. Having pre-ordered the album, I was also given the chance to get the single early (well, as early as i-Tunes users), and well, it’s just as good as I thought it would be. It’s very harmonious, and it had shades of the style that they introduced in their last album, Minutes to Midnight. I like the layering they did with the background shouting, and some techno beats, and the tempo switch up near the end.
I was happy with it, but, still not satisfied. I read some comments that some ‘Fans’ posted on their Facebook fan page, and a lot didn’t like it, stating that it’s not the old LP, and they should do more songs like from the past. I somewhat agree, but I think Chester has had a good life since Hybrid Theory so, there’s not much personal anger he can write about anymore. BUT, I will not go as far as saying that they ‘suck’.
LP has been around for about a decade (I’m too lazy to check actual dates, but Hybrid Theory was released in 1999 I believe), and I heard on Sirius radio one time (I think Octane) that they are the only Rap/Rock group that’s still around. That Genre (Rap/Rock) is pretty much all but dead, and it is surprising that they are still right up there. That’s pretty good staying power considering. So it’s only fitting they they sort of evolve a bit differently from each album release. It was bound to happen and it did happen with Minutes to Midnight.
I was overall happy w/ that album, but Meteora is still my fave. I sure do hope they bring out some classic-ish tracks, (similar to Given up and Bleed it out) in the upcoming album. I don’t think we’ll ever see old LP again. Mike rapping, Chester’s screams, and Hahn’s mixes. Mike is moving more into the production part, and kind of leaving the vocals solely to Chester, which is all but fine for me. Anyway, I cannot wait to hear what they have in store for us. If you really want some good old Chester screams, check out his solo project (Dead by Sunrise). It’s not old LP, but it does fill the void somewhat. Anyway here’s the video.
Funny, after seeing the video for MOH, I later found out that a trailer for COD: Black-ops was released featuring Eminem’s Wont Back down. It was also very fitting.
and lastly, I just want to squeeze this in. Funny ad from Motorola (Droid X).
